Celebrating Ascension!

Celebrating Ascension Day!

The Ascension of Christ (Acts 1:9–11) marks the moment Jesus rose to reign at the Father's right hand. Far from being an ending, it is a beginning— the Church's birth into mission.

• Unity flows from the Ascension because Christ, now seated in glory, pours out one Spirit upon all believers, making them one body regardless of background or culture.

• His prayer defines our purpose — in John 17:21, Jesus prayed "that they all may be one" so the world would believe. Church unity is therefore both a witness and a worship.

• The Ascension calls us upward together — not one person, but the whole Church is summoned to rise above division, pride, and conflict.

Christ's ascension lifts the whole Church. We are most fully the Body of Christ when we rise together — in one spirit of prayer, one mission of love, one body serving a broken world.
