“Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died!”

This anguished cry has echoed down the centuries and has been uttered by countless people in moments of grief and loss.

It's a cry that has hit close to home for many in our congregation, as we know the pain of losing someone we love.

But in the midst of our grief, we have a Savior who has come to be one of us and knows how deeply it feels and hurts to experience loss.

So many in our midst have turned to the story of Lazarus and the hope that it offers them as they journey through "The valley of the shadow of death."

And that is precisely why we can have such powerful testimonies and expressions as:

"Laurette Strong"
"Nelly Faithful"
"Louise Steadfast"
"The Clark's Trusting"
"Guy Toussaint Unwavering" https://bellmorefuneralhome.com/guy-c-toussaint/

And ...

We can go on and on with other Powerful Cloud of Witnesses that are now cheering us on our own journey of faith and obedience.

Come Sunday, you'll hear more of the God who's Four Days late but always "On Time"

Hello Friends.

Welcome to spring and all the freshness and New Life that it brings.

Below is a temp outline of our celebration format (the final bulletin will reflect any change)

And as a gentle reminder, we will also have communion, so please have your elements ready if you're worshipping with us online.

Well, see all of you at our worship service.

Cheers as always,

Roy

PS. Please keep everyone in your prayers ... especially those in their hour of grief.

As we go forth from this place and face the week
May the tender mercies of Jesus be with us all

And may they find comfort and hope in their hour of grief

We go in peace to love and serve the Lord,
in the name of Christ. Amen. ❤
